RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT
By signing up for and participating in the Tom Beard West - El Paso Football Officials’ Camp, I understand that I may be engaging in physical activities associated with on-field officiating with live action football players, and that accidents happen and injuries occur. I assume all risks and I accept full responsibility for any and all injuries or damages that I may suffer as a participant in the Tom Beard West - El Paso Football Officials’ Camp or while traveling to and from and attending the sites of the Camp and the activities related to the Camp.
In exchange for attending the Camp and for other good and valuable consideration, I hereby and forever fully release, discharge and hold harmless the Tom Beard Football Officials Clinic, TBFOC, Inc., El Paso Football Officials’ Camp, Zebra Sports, LLC, Texas Association of Sports Officials, Texas Association of Sports Officials-El Paso Chapter, University Interscholastic League, Canutillo Independent School District, Socorro Independent School District, Ysleta Independent School District, El Paso Independent School District, The University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso Sports Commission, the Radisson hotel, all Camp staff members and instructors and their respective employers and affiliates, coaches, speakers and other participants in or caterers or other service providers to the Camp, and their respective members, managers, directors, officers, employees, agents, coaches, conferences, affiliates, instructors and representatives from any and all liability, suits, causes of action, damages, or claims arising from bodily injury or property damage or property loss, suffered in any way as a result of travelling to or from or attending the Camp, regardless of cause or fault and regardless of whether founded in whole or in part upon alleged negligence of any one or more of the released parties.
I also understand and hereby agree that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses or claims as well as my own health and medical insurance and I release, discharge and hold harmless the above-named released parties from any and all liability for any medical claim or expense or damage.
I further understand that certain events are subject to change or cancellation due to inclement weather or other circumstances, and that I am not in any way to be promised or guaranteed any specific results, refunds, promotions, memberships or any game assignments from any leagues, conferences, chapters or other assigning authorities or officiating organizations. If my picture is taken or my image or likeness are otherwise recorded, I hereby fully authorize the release, broadcast or use of any such picture or recording by TBFOC, Inc. and/or Zebra Sports, LLC, including use on any website or promotional item.
I understand that by participating in the Camp, I am accepting this release (PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW). I will be prevented from suing anybody or any entity if I get hurt or if I suffer any property damage or loss, or if I want to claim that I didn’t enjoy the Camp or have a full opportunity to participate in or be evaluated as part of Camp activities. This is a full, comprehensive and total release of any and all claims.
IMPORTANT NOTE: By registering for the Camp, you certify and attest that you have read and agree to the above Release and Hold Harmless Agreement.
